INDICATION
First aid (sport injuries) and initial treatment. Isolated fi xation (without involvement of the wrist) of the basic joint of fi ngers II-IV (short version) or combined fi xation of all the joints of these fi ngers including the metacarpophalangeal one (long version) in case of injuries, infl ammations (e.g. felons), degenerative diseases and following surgery.

APPLICATION AND ADJUSTING
The ready to adjust Chrisofix® orthoses have to be adjusted directly on the injured/diseased body part. The rough adjustment (bending) has to be performed on a non-injured fi nger. Fine adjustments, readjustments (e.g. after soft tissue swelling is reduced) can be made without removing the orthesis.
- Put the palm side of the hand and the fi nger to be splinted into the preshaped orthosis.
- Fix the orthosis around the back of hand with the strap.
- With gentle pressure, carefully shape the fi nger part of the orthesis to the fi nger, and fi x it with the small velcro strap/s.
If necessary, you can bend the orthesis into the required position.
